If there is a frosting fault in the chiller, the enterprise must use professional methods to complete the troubleshooting in a timely manner to ensure the safe and stable operation of the chiller, and regularly check whether the various parts of the chiller are worn or damaged, and should be replaced in time. In addition, when an enterprise purchases a chiller, it should reasonably match the chiller according to the production demand, so as to better use the chiller and reduce the cost of the enterprise.

When the chiller compressor turns from frost to ice, the following steps can be taken to deal with it:

1. Stop the chiller and cut off the power supply. This is to avoid further damage to the compressor as well as other equipment.

2.Remove any ice from around the chiller. You can use warm water or hot towels to wipe, do not use hard objects or sharp tools to peel off the ice layer, so as not to damage the surface of the compressor.

3. Check the filter and condenser for blockage. If clogged, the filter should be cleaned or replaced to remove dust and grime from the condenser.

4. Check the cooling temperature of the chiller. If it is too low, it may be that the refrigerant level is too low, and you can increase the refrigerant.

5.Check whether the drain pipe of the chiller is blocked, if there is a blockage, it should be cleaned up immediately.

6. Check the operation of the fan of the chiller, if the fan is not working properly, it can be repaired or replaced.

6.Turn on the power of the chiller, restart the chiller, and observe whether the compressor is operating normally and whether it will still freeze.

In short, when dealing with the icing problem of the chiller compressor, if you are not sure how to operate or deal with it, it is recommended to ask professional maintenance personnel to repair it, so as not to cause more serious problems.
